Searched for ages across many websites to find decent size 14 shoes for my 18 yr old son. These are sturdy and hard wearing, comfortable and much better than limited local offering of cheaper/non branded shoes that might look similar style but not same quality. I have always wanted a decent pair of boots for everyday use but didn’t want the bright yellow look of T’lands - I happened across the black Pod boots and leapt at them.
I have had the boots for about 6 weeks and they have rarely left my feet - they are beyond doubt the most confortable boots I have ever worn, and if they are as hard wearing as they look, they will be my favourites for some years to come.
100% recommended.

No messing about with this shoe. Light, well finished, decent grip and well stitched. Also doesn’t pinch the Achilles or the top of the foot unlike the cheaper brands.

It was 1982 since I last owned a pair of Pods and am please to say that I enjoyed putting them on for the first time as much as I did back then.
Only one set back in that one of the laces was marked with a dark stain. is there any possibility of obtaining a new one.

Just a quick review of the product I bought and the level of service.
I recently asked where I could buy Walnut Black Pod boots as I was struggling to locate these both inshops and online, and was given detailed information on how to buy them and the best time to buy them to get a good deal.
I followed the instructions and duly ordered the boots which arrived quicker than expected, perfectly packaged.
The boots are of a very good quality and I am completely satisified with the product and the customer care that I have been shown by aWAVEshoes. In my opinion the company have gone above and beyond "the normal" service that you would expect. unfortunately loved the shoes but my son takes a s 14 wide foot and they were much too narrow so he was left very disappointed.

We do have a selection of wider fitting shoes available, perhaps there is a style to suit your son. The shoes are graded proportionately so as the shoes are made larger (length), the width also increases. As experienced shoe-makers, we understand that feet come in all different shapes and sizes which is why we have a varied collection of narrow, standard and wide-fitting shoes. Very pleased with these shoes. They are a very sturdy shoe and give fantastic support, which is what my daughter needs. The service was fantastic and the price was a bonus considering the quality of the shoe. My daughter said they were a little stiff at first but has had no problems with them during her first week at school.

This is the first time I have dared to order shoes online- I find it difficult to find what I want in local shops. The service was excellent, the shoes arrived exactly when they were expected and communication throughout was very good.
Unfortunately I was very, very disappointed with these shoes. They were very poorly finished and not at all like the colour in the photographs. There were scuffs and wrinkles on the leather and I don’t think they were of good quality- I couldn’t see me wearing them, so I have sent them back and asked for a refund. The irony is, my main worry was fit and they did fit me! Sorry to have to leave a negative review- I’d rather have had shoes I was pleased with.

I ordered these shoes at the weekend and they arrived on Tuesday. It was also extremely useful to get the exact time slot (i.e. between 5:30 and 6:30pm) of the delivery.
My son was really pleased as he needed the shoes for when he went back to school on Wednesday. This is the 3rd pair of POD Rave shoes he has had - they are extremely hard wearing and very comfortable - his feet just wont stop growing hence the need to re-purchase !

These are our 2nd pair of Poddlers for our little girl, they’re so different. The first were lace-ups and were fantstic, unfortunatly with these there isn’t quite enough holes for the buckle, so we’ve nearly lost them twice as she can kick them off when sat in her pushchair. They do scuff very quickly too which is a shame. But overall are a very nice, pretty shoe without being ’’pretty pink’’!

I ordered the shoes for my mother as she does not have access to the internet. She knew she wanted Pod shoes so that was what we typed in in Google and your shop was on the first page of results. I can say we looked at Amazon and ebay aswell but your prices and free delivery could not be beat.
My mother is absoultely delighted with her shoes, the price and how quickly she received them. From my point of view with the online shopping side of things i was impressed with the price and delivery and it is always appreciated when email updates are sent letting you know what stage your order is at (order received, dispatched etc)

The Pods are as usual fantastic and very comfortable. As with all the Pods I have owned though the soles will wear out well before the rest of the shoe but I wear mine for work and I am on my feet 8 hours a day 5 & 1/2 days a week and I get about 9 months out of them ( Which is better than other brands I have had)
As for the service I particularly like the tracking and delivery info. They arrived within the hour slot that they said (perfect for planning your day)

Shoes arrived promptly and in good condition. Quality seems very good. Leather soft and even in colour and texture. Stitching and broguing all look perfect. Leather lining and insole smooth and comfortable. Fit was good. Comfortable from day one. Chunky shoes need to be "worn in" but these needed very little. Chunky look is very nice. No mistaking these are country brogues designed for rough walking in comfort. Would be nice if the offered them in mid brown/oxblood as well. I would buy these again. At £50 they are excellent value.

After finding many other makes not lasting or uncomfortable i was told about Pods and tried them and found they were everything that i had been told.They look heavy but are in fact very light and soft as slippers.They are long lasting and keep their look if you take care of them.I have been wearing Pods now for a number of years and i can’t imagine that i would ever change back to another make.

The pair were initially delivered were in poor condition with quite a bit of discoloration on the toe of one of the shoes and pronounced nicks to the leather.
However, the situation was redeemed by the response to my emails and returns form, which was a model of good customer service. I was looking for a new pair of Clarks Originals shoes but after a bit of web browsing I re-discovered POD. It brought back memories of my youth in the 80s so I ordered a pair of the Weller shoes in copper brown and I have to say they’re brilliant. So comfortable and just my style up to date Mod. The leather is a beautiful dark brown and super soft. These are a must for any discerning gentleman’s shoe collection.
The service was fanstastic too. I ordered them on a Sunday night and got them delivered on the Tuesday, all with free postage. Top marks to Pod Heritage :-)

Only criticism would be that the right shoe was slightly scuffed by the metal Pod tag that was attached to the lace. Bit daft, but it polished out after a little while.

First class help when it turned out we had ordered a size too big. The replacement pair came very quickly and the staff answered my emails about what to do promptly.
Only downside was having to pay the cost of returning the shoes but as it was our mistake (ie a size issue) rather than a fault - I accept this was reasonable.

Very nice shoes,although more of a deep coral colour..one thing if your child has wide/high feet the fastening may not fit as velcro strap does not cover the full upper strap just a inch..my daughter is a G fit and only just reaches across!

Got these as a replacement pair (see my farmers brogue review) - and what a result. These are the most comfy shoes I have ever worn. Perfect fit, great quality, superb retro look and took everything that the recent winter weather could throw at them.
I must also add that once again, that awaveshoes superstar, Amy - went out of her way to source these as they were originally out of stock in my size.

First pair absolutley great, perfect fit, really smart country look and very pleased with them
Second pair had a slight imperfection on the inner sole, the rest of the shoe was top quality.
However, what made me write this review was they way the company rep - Amy - handled my return
She went out of her way to source another pair I wanted.
Her responsiveness was fantastic and she helped me through it with professionalism and a nice sense of humour.
Its absolutley true what they say - "no quibble" returns and a customer focused approach to die for.
